About Brennan & Vlahakis Insurance

The agency originated back in 1928 as The Hickey agency and was taken over by Leo T. Yourglivch in 1932 and became Leo’s Insurance Agency. Leo ran the agency 60 years before retiring and selling the agency in September of 1992 to Daniel Brennan & Nicholas Vlahakis, who changed the name to Brennan & Vlahakis Insurance.

Nick and Dan have deep Stamford roots, being born and raised here, attending Stamford Schools, and now reside with their families here in Stamford. Nick and his wife Linda live in the Shippan section of Stamford and have two daughters, Stella and Georgia Lynn, son in law Bruce and grandchildren Greyson and Aubrey. Dan and his wife Toni have three children, Daniel Jr., Joseph, and Kaitlyn and live in the Westover area.
